Bathroom Design: 5 tips and tricks

Bathroom Design: 5 tips and tricks.

Before embarking on a new bathroom design consider our 5 tips and tricks to maximise the use of the space and your budget in your bathroom.

Tip 1: Layout

Think about the layout of your bathroom before you start making any stylistic decisions. Figure out the placement of bathroom furniture and the flow of the room first.

Tip 2: Concealed pipework

Make space for false walls to conceal all those unsightly waste pipes. For a contemporary look create false walls that run from floor to ceiling to give a sleek clean look.

Tip 3: Bathroom Storage.

Use a mix of concealed and open storage so you can tuck away the unsightly stuff, and display the beautiful bottles.

Tip 4: Wall mounted sanitaryware.

If you have a small bathroom, look at elevating bathroom furniture off the floor i.e. wall-mounted toilets and vanity units or free standing baths. This gives the impression of there being more space as you can see more floor.

Tip 5: Niches.

Design niches in showers or around baths like these. Not only useful spaces to store toiletries but it’s not an expensive thing to include. Aim for the niche size that aligns with your tiling to that detailed touch.
