The brief was to extend the existing building to the side of the house which is currently a family room and create a large light and bright living and dining room with a contemporary feel, whilst respecting the scale of the existing listed cottage.

Timber framed sliding folding doors and a series of conservation rooflights flood the space with natural light.

The client was keen to incorporate a green oak timber frame to compliment the original timber frame Tudor House.
