Our clients desired to convert their confined living quarters into a spacious, unified area with a more seamless connection to their garden. Located in a conservation of Hackney the project provided some challenges to achieve planning permission.

To increase the volume of the space, we removed the existing flat ceiling and aligned it with the roofline. Additionally, we incorporating rooflights to bring in natural light and ventilation.
To create a fluid relationship with the landscaping and offer the impression of more living space, we installed Kloeber Aluminium sliding folding doors that open up to the garden.
